Appomattox County High School Auto Mechanics Students Earn State Inspector’s License

May 8, 2018

Appomattox County High School (ACHS) is pleased to announce 8 Auto Mechanics students have completed their state inspection licensing process. Each of these students were required to complete a minimum of 1,090 hours of state inspection related content that consisted of combined classroom and laboratory training. To complete the training, each student had to perform a practice state inspection on a vehicle. The state of Virginia requires all vehicles operated on state highways be inspected for safety. Each of the 8 students pictured below have received their Safety Inspector’s License from the Commonwealth of Virginia and may now be employed as a State Safety Inspector.  Congratulations to these outstanding ACHS students! Go Raiders!
